B i o g r a p h y

Inspired by Neil Leifer’s sports photography, Annie Leibovitz’s Rolling Stone images, and Horst Faas’s Vietnam reportage, Timothy Macy bought his first Nikon in 1978 with money earned from mowing lawns.  He is a multiple graduate of Ball State University, where he studied photojournalism, English, and architecture. His photographs have been exhibited at galleries in Manhattan, Brooklyn, Los Angeles, Germany, France and elsewhere. He resides in Brooklyn, New York, and is a construction project manager for the Wildlife Conservation Society.
